From apples to cinnamon donuts: out-of-date produce is quickly weeded out in supermarket chains. There are often leftovers on the plates in restaurants and pubs. ReFood takes care of waste from catering, trade and the food industry. Our customers benefit from this in a number of ways. We offer them specialised advice on waste disposal issues, provide them with suitable container systems, and agree with the customers on how often they would like the containers collected.

At ReFood, the food waste is almost completely recycled and used in a meaningful way. Once the products have undergone specialised treatment, they can be used in biogas production. Used frying oils are also an important component in the production of biodiesel.
