The handling and treating of skins, hides and leather is a very specialised process and there is a wide variety of different handling methods. This huge range is reflected in the leather storage facility of our subsidiary, Schnittger, in which leather skins in over 70 different colours and in a wide range of qualities are kept. The production of high-quality wetblue skins in selected tannings for furniture, car, shoe and clothing leather is another significant branch of our business. Working closely together with our customers, the skins are sorted and graded in the various production stages to suit the needs of the customer. This enables us to meet the requirements of the customer and deliver on time.
